Nintendo Game & Watch
The Game and Watch, released from 1980 to 1991, were single game handheld electronic games, designed by Gunpei Yokoi.
His inspiration came from watching a bored businessman playing with an calculator. Yokoi then thought of the idea for a watch that doubled as a mini gaming machine for killing time.
Widely known as the first versions of games such as Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda and Mario bros, these pocket sized games quickly became popular.
