PS Vita Handheld Console

Introducing the PS Vita - Sony Playstation's latest portable gaming console.

The new name "Vita" was chosen by Sony to represent the new life they were breathing into the Playstation Portable device, but with this new update it is just that: a very modern update to that same device released years ago.

It has retained the super oval shape of the original, though this time it looks and feels even more oval shaped. Each side is flanked by two analog sticks that feel much like those on the original PSP, and in the middle of each analog stick is a large, beautiful 5 inch OLED screen.

The coolest part about this new screen, in addition to the extremely vivid colors and wide viewing angle, is that it is a multi-touch capacitive touchscreen, so it will be able to register more than one finger on the screen at the same time, similar to most Android phones and the iPhone.

The Playstation Vita will sell for a Street Price of AUD$349.95 (RRP) for the Wi-Fi Model, if you want the 3G enabled version, it'll be $419.95 (RRP) .
